Hi
I'm staying in Stratford Upon Avon at the weekend, planning to visit the Cotswolds too.
Last time we went, we visited Broadway and loved the little craft and gift shops. We want to try somewhere different this time but preferably with the same type of shops, ie. crafts, gifts, tea rooms.
I had thought of Bourton on the Water, but someone said it's mainly expensive antique shops and also Stow on The Wold?
So, if anyone can recommend a Broadway type place (rather than us just visiting the same place again!), that would be great.
Thank you.:)

Burford is a nice little place with tea rooms etc also moreton in marsh. All the little cotswold towns seem to be antiques shops these days. Blenheim palace is nice for a walk around as is Woodstock.0

If you are staying in Stratford go down to Moreton (market on a Tuesday very busy then), it has shops on either side of a main road nice to have a wander then on the left side (if you are coming from Stratford) go towards the end of the main centre and there is a lovely hotel called the Manor Hotel - even if you can only afford a cup of tea it's a lovely environment to have it in.
Next carry on through Morton and go on to Stow - this is better, lots of shops and not just antiques - more than Broadway.
After that set off to Bourton, this is a lovely setting even if you just go for that. There are not a huge amount of shops but enough worth a visit.
Hope you have a lovely time.0 -
Woodstock definitely, the town is lovely as well as easy access to Blenheim Palace (as someone has already suggested). Lots of pubs and if you're feeling flush then splurge on lunch at the Bear Hotel! Not far away is Bladon, burial place of Winston Churchill plus some lovely gift shops and tea rooms etc. Enjoy!£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250
