HFC return SAR asking for id pls Help

I sent a SAR to HFC with my previous addresses and enclosed a cheque for £10 on the 1/3 yesterday (19/3) they returned paperwork with the cheque stating they cannot carry out my request without a copy of my pasport or driving licence!!!
The thing is they have already upheld one complaint ( which i am in disagreement and have sent it to FOS). so they have my details on their computer. I called HFC yesterday the number on top of the letter and their so called customer service said that their CCA & SAR dept do not take calls:mad: I tried to explain the letter states to call if i have any queries but no joy ( he did not understand what i was saying and ended call:mad:
In my opinion they already have my details and previous addressess I sent them a cheque this has my bank account details i think this is just delaying tactics as the account details i want are for loans that have been paid off and these loans were purchased in Branch from a very nice sales advisor (not). What do i do now as I will send them copy of photo id but the forty days start again:mad: any advice welcome

Why are you making a Data Subject Access Request if you know you were missold a policy?
You simply need to give your reasons for complaining.
Why, too, are you going to FOS about a complaint that has been upheld?0 -

Hello
I have been missold PPI by HFC and have sent a SAR because I no longer have the paperwork and the account is closed.
Are you suggesting that a SAR is not necessary to claim?
If a claim is upheld, how would you know if your claim is being dealt with fairly with regards to the figures if you have nothing to cross reference?0 -
I Did a SAR because I do not have account number and HFC said they cannot find this information.magpiecottage wrote: »Why are you making a Data Subject Access Request if you know you were missold a policy?

I went to Fos because they paid the redress amount to Robinson Way for arrears including the 8%. I beleive this should come to me:o0
