    Morning lovely people.
Hope everyone has a good day - and those who are feeling stressed get some positive news. Feeling a bit stressy myself - so hard to budget or keep to a budget when my DH seems to think "money is there, so spend it". (He's not the worst but I do feel like banging my head off a brick wall at times. Things are so tight at the moment).

    Anyway - whining over

    Today:
Had to post a parcel - cost £8 but at least it is off my conscience now.
NSD in work - have lunch, fruit and yoghurt with me and Diet Coke in the fridge.
Put wash out on the line before work. Hoping to get DH to hang a second load out this afternoon.
Dinner from our stores - have defrosted chicken and plan on chicken, SW chips and salad.
Check Onepoll - althought there don't seem to be a lot of surveys at the moment or I'm getting screened out.
Long hot shower tonight - it's milder today so turn the heating down again.
    Chase for self employed payment.
  • Shopped again in Waitross
    1 whole chicken £1.09 instead of £3.49
Rump steak £1.81 instead of £5.80
Rump steak £1.51 instead of £4.80
    Checked Bank Statement

That's dinner for the next couple of nights sorted!!!!
    Debt Free!!!

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi all

Boo to all horrible jobs..luckily mine is a great job but I did leave one last year which grew a bit tricky.

    Today :

    - washing on 30 and on racks, or on line outside
    - got camper van insurance. Got £25 off renewal notice price as went with a guaranteed price beater from the Caravan Club..practically paid for next years membership I guess! Paid on 0% card as no fee. Now need to work out how I pay for it/ reconcile it as its part of my monthly budget/SOA.
    - a LSD. Oh got some baking stuff so I can make pastry and cookies this pm but that's it:rotfl:
    - longer chat with OH re assessing what we 'want' and 'need' to get this year in terms of 'large expenses'. Just so I can see what might be coming down the line. Started this yesterday and its proving to be a useful discipline...just don't seem to be able to cross anything off the list yet tho! Need a few more discussions before we are through I think. Another possibility is just to completely bump up the OP fund..tempting but maybe slow and steady is the way to go. can't live completely without some spends in 2012!
    - PADs and check banking
    - keep looking for EBay items:A

Think that's it. Quiet day but a LSD!! Hope everyone is good and the job front picks up for those that need it to!
