Hi all, thanks for clicking on my thread!
I am currently saving towards a deposit for a house, and though having a diary would help me on my way!
A bit about me:
Been with gorgeous boyf for 4 and a bit years
Moved away from our friends & family to Leicester for our work & so they we could afford to move in together!
Have saved over £5k since Sept & dead pleased!
Our budget is pretty tight this year but I've signed up to the 'Save 12k in 2012' thread with a target of 5k but Im hoping that with some real scrimping we can thrash that!
Current incoming is £2612 a month (shortly to reduce to £2349 as new work Sharesaves start in May). We have a 0% spending card which we bought are furniture on, this is to be cleared by October, we are paying off our sofa until December (£120/month 0% credit) and also in the final year of paying off our little broom broom (£306 a month until December! Also 0% finance). :A
Due to all the above commitments this year will be quite stretching financially, and its also our closest friends wedding in July so will have to be very careful with our funds, but I do like a challenge!
