Not with Virgin but all of my banking is done online (so via Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Halifax and Nationwide)
  • I do my virigin credit card banking online, though I've now cleared that card off, so don't tend to go to the site very often.

As for offers, I have only had one through the post and that was for homebase, then again that doesn't really bother me, I opened my account to get the 0% BT for 6 months so I could clear off the card which I've done, so I don't use it anyway except for expenses for work which I then claim back.

    Hi Oli,

    How did you get on?

Quick question, as I'm just about to apply for one... On the start of the application it asks you your monthly rental/mortgage payment. If you are living with someone/married, therefore you share the payment, do you need to put in the full amout, or just your half of it?

    Anyone?

Also, how long does the process take? How does it work?

If I apply online today, when will I a) get any paperwork to sign, and b) get the card... that's all assuming I get approved of course :)

    thanks in advance.

    Thanks Oli.

How long after that do you get anything through the post from them - either paperwork, or the card itself?

    Thanks
  • Phoned them today and sorted out my credit limit and they gave me more than i thought they would, Lady on the phone told me it will be 7 to 10 days for the pin and card to arrive.

did you not get any forms to fill in in between times, or was it all done online/over the phone?
