Shame i couldnt get to warn one of my customers before he paid up his "reduced" £35 "fine" to Parking Pigs Eye...even worse is that the ole boy is 84 years old! thats what has spurred me on even more to expose these cretinous B####ds...why thats even more than our beloved chancellor took off the pensioners in the budget!!!!0

The elderly are the prime targets of these crooks. They tend to accept it and pay even though they have done nothing. The elderly disabled more so. That is the reason the scammers concentrate on the disabled spaces.
"Blue badge upside down? That'll be £100 then! But good news! It's only £50 if you pay in 14 days."

Hia I received a notice off parking eye to pay £50 for parking in a free carpark at a retail outlet, didn't realise there was a 3 hour limit and stayed there an hour over my time! I have appealed it but no luck, seen forums after, now realising I have done myself no favours in admitting it was me that was parked there!! I take it I need to pay now?0

Could you please start your own thread as you will get lost on this one. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
No, you don't need to pay now. Or ever. You made a mistake contacting them, but now you have found us, so, Do not pay. Do not speak to them again. Ignore all the bumpf they send you.
Any worries, come back to us, but do as Tri says, and start your own thread rather than tack on to an old one. It is much clearer and easier to follow that way.0 -

Are you quite mad?! You also send money by Western Union to claim your Nigerian Lottery prize when you get phishing emails, do you?!
Sorry but you only had to search this forum for the keywords 'already appealed' to see other threads where your question has been asked hundreds of times (specifically search on this sub-forum only).
And just read the top thread 'PPC letters & threats' & watch the Watchdog clip there. That's what the top sticky thread is there for - just one click takes you to the whole forum view, sticky thread at the top. See my signature for where to click if it's unclear.
And when you see the whole forum view you'll see we have new threads here every single day, not just this random one. Read a few, do a search.
IGNORE THE SCAM.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I like your style. However, I can foresee a potential problem with saying it's an offence, when it isn't.
I'd suggest something like "If anyone except the driver or registered keeper removes this leaflet, they shall be liable to a £?? fine. Please ring 0906 PPC SCAM to make payment."
I'm sure we can find the proper legal wording from a PPC sign or ticket. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

Except that some PPC's do you the word "offence" on their ticket envelopes. For an example see the UKCPS ticket in the sticky.
I have asked both the BPA and Town and Country Parking what that "offence" would be and they both replied that it would be classed as theft and there is nothing wrong in using that word. I then asked them if it would apply to any paperwork left on a car -such as a pizza flyer, and the BPA said yes.
So there you have it, what's sauce for the goose etc. All nonsense of course, I couldn't see the police taking any PPC seriously if they attempted to report somebody for removing or interfering with one of their ticket envelopes. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
So- if the PPC claim it still belongs to them even though they dumped it on someone's car- there would be no offence involved in deciding they had mislaid it, taking it and posting it back to the PPC. As you are being public spirited enough to return their property to them, surely it would not be unreasonable to leave them to pay the postage, and not stamp the envelope.
If, on the other hand, it is the PPCs case that ownership of the ticket has passed to the vehicle owner or driver, then it would be for the latter to make a complaint of theft. Would they do that? Er, no.0 -
The BPA code of practice talks about "authorised persons" in respect to who can or cannot touch a PPC ticket envelope. I asked the BPA how they classify an "authorised person" and how that authority is obtained. Answer came there none.
Of course all that legal mumbo-jumbo is designed to try and fool people into thinking it's a legal document, when in fact it just another piece of worthless paper. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
