I have just got a new computer which runs windows 7 (I usedto have windows XP) and I seem to have a problem with installing Nero 7 on it.
Every time I try to run the installer it partially installsNero 7 but it crashes before the end with an error message telling me that Nero7 is incompatible, I have also tried running it in compatibility mode but itstill crashes.
Is there any way of installing Nero 7 on a windows 7 systemor will I have to buy a newer version, and which version would be best toinstall.
I have heard that Nero 11 is full of Bloatware and veryexpensive, Nero 10 is a bit better but a friend said the copy disk featuredoesn’t work with windows 7 (X86), but I am not an expert – can anyone advise

If the above link goes to 64 bit, click the 32 bit tab if applicable

You could ask in the forum or Nero support but they do sometimes make it so older versions do not run with later versions of Windows0 -
Nero 7 has not been tested to meet all of the technical requirements to be Compatible with Windows® 7.
Google is your friend
Nero also has trial versions of all their products so go and try what version you want and then make your mind up0 -
Which functions of nero do you need, that aren't already available on your machine?
imgburn is free.!!

imgburn is free.
Well let’s see I use it to burn AVI, VOB and ISO movies onto blank DVD's
I use it to make up CD music compilations
Also to do backups/restores of my hard disk from time to time
And I like the fact that it’s all on one program

that functionality is either built into the OS, or whatever free burning software that came with the machine (if it was bought preinstalled), or imgburn/nero kwik burn!!
