Car hire in euope

has anyone out there heard off or used this company

https://www.insurance4carhire.com (sorry can't copy the link)
they offer an annual excess policy for europe for £49 + 5% tax
seems like a good deal as Hertz wanted 16 euros a day = 112euros week to cover the excess of 900 euros on a peugeot 307 last week

I rent cars in france about 6 weeks a year and avoid paying the excess insurance cover, so far i've been lucky but i feel that time is against me and sooner or later an accident may happen resulting in large excess payment.

Any info welcome. thanks

What do you think Martin if you're there in cyber space.

Yes I have taken out annual policy and prior to that the daily one. It is accepted by all the major car rental firms. Fortunately I have not needed to make use of it but there have been various threads in the past where people have made a claim without problems which prompted me to buy

If you do it regularly, it's probably worth it... but have you tried one of the car hire consolidators such as http://www.carsabroad.com or http://www.holidayautos.co.uk who may actually offer the reduced excess in their standard insurance package, together with a reduced rate?
