recommendations please i7 laptop

we are going to be purchasing a laptop for my son in the next few weeks and he wants a i7 laptop minimum spend £800

any recommendations?

Tell your son to stop being so silly. i7 is overkill for laptops - he won't be doing anything that requires that sort of processing power, and it will kill battery life. An i5 with a decent mobile graphics card will be much better for gaming (if that's what he's wanting to do with it) than spending the extra money on an i7

sorry should have said £800 maximum not minimum, am slowly talking him round to an i5
