Connect MP3 player to camera

I would like to be able to use my MP3 player to store jpgs on direct from my camera so that I can download to my PC when I get home. I see that there is an adapter for the Ipod but I have a Creative Zen Micro. Does anybody know of a way of doing this?

Thanks

M

Best way would be via the computer tbh

I dont think the camera would have the compatability to browse the Zen, select and transfer files

Ditch the Zen and get an iPod. I could even transfer the videos shot on the camera onto the iPod to free camera memory when I haven't got a PC nearby.
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

No need to ditch the Zen and get an iPod.

You can get a USB transfer device like this one to do the job.

Has anyone actually tried this? Not a single review on Amazon. How can the two devices talk to each other without the necessary software? For example how can one choose which files to transfer and where to put them?

I have not used one personally but read what it says on the Belkin website here. 7dayshop have also previously sold a similar device.

Thanks everyone. Expresso thanks for the product link!

In keeping with the spirit of this website I would like to keep my money and stick with the Zen. I don't need it to be amazingly sophisticated with regard to folders and files. I just need to be able to get the files transferred so I can clear my memory cards. The Zen has useful function where you can allocate how much of it you want to use as a mass storage device.

Would you be kind enough to let us know how you get on with the Belkin thingy if you get one? it would be extremely useful if works properly.

    Will do!

A quick search on ebay revealed that you can buy a non-Belkin one from five pounds although £35 seems the average for a well known brand.

    Thanks Everyone
