Shared Ownership- PLEASE help?!

Hello,
I currently live in a shared ownership home that I bought in 2007 with an ex partner. He left in 2009 and I havent heard from him since.
I recieved letters last week, one from the rent side and one from the mortgage side- both are going up, I just cant afford to live here anymore. I dont know what to so? I cant sell as its in negative equity and I just dont know what to do. Can anyone give me some advice please?
Thank you

Probably the very best people to speak to on this kind of thing. They are a charity that specialise in housing debts and repossessions.
