Old printer

Can you throw an old printer away or would it need stripping incase it stores info on already printed items.

" As a general rule they only have RAM, which is perfectly erased after a job has been transferred to the print processor. Some printers do have a history of print jobs, but nothing about details, just names of ID and the computer they were printed from. I hope this helps. "

Industrial printers may have a hard drive but not likely with an inkjet
