Renting with CCCS DMP

Hello,
I'm after a bit of advice please.
I'm currently renting privately, but may have to move soon (as per other threads) as our landlady is currently having the house repossessed (no fault of ours – she hasn’t kept up with mortgage).
My concern is that since we last had a credit check for renting we've started a DMP with the CCCS. As a result a lot of our creditors have given us default notices leaving our credit score very poor.
I'm now really concerned that this will mean we can't privately rent, even though we have evidence that we have rented before and never had problems with paying out rent.
We are a family (2 adults, 2 kids), me and my partner both work full time, have nothing like any CCJs, IVAs etc.
I don't really have anyone who can act as a guarantor either.
Do you think we can still get a house?
Any advice would be gratefully received....

Hello - sorry to bump this one up...
From some of the limited research I've done I'm fairly confident that the credit checks the letting agents do only look for CCJs and bankrupsy, but if anyone has got any experience or anything to add I would be happy to hear from you.
I’ve got a viewing on a house we really like tomorrow and have been honest with the agent who have said we should be fine and that its normally CCJs and bankrupsy that’s a problem… but obviously the couldn’t guarantee it.. this also seems to be the view of the CCCS.
Anyone else ever been in this situation?2012 wins = £933 :j

I believe it is only CCJ and bankruptcy that they are looking for.0

Just in case anyone else is ever in my situation I just wanted to say that my credit checks went through fine ... we are on the move
I've read a lot a scary posts on here from people that obviously think they know more then they do about what letting agents can see.... I personally agree with what the chap from Experian said in that they can only see things like CCJs etc as they are not offering you credit… only credit companies can see your full report.
I was honest with our letting agent and it still wasn’t a problem.2012 wins = £933 :j
