Documents onto website - help needed

Hoping someone can help.

I am trying to upload several documents (Minutes of meetings) onto a website.

The documents were created in Word 2007 but I’m still using Word 2000 (I know, dinosaur!:o) I don’t know if that’s relevant, but thought I’d mention it.

My problem is that when downloaded from the website, the documents include all the toolbars, ruler etc. Is there a way to avoid this so that only the document itself is seen? If so, could someone please explain, as simply as possible, how to achieve this.

I would actually prefer if the documents didn’t need to be downloaded, but could just be read online. However they are each at least 3 pages long and there will be anything between 3 and 6 of them at any one time. They all have to be on one webpage, so I can’t just copy them as the page would be too long.

Thanks in advance for any advice

You'd need to save them as a jpg, png or similar.

    Thanks for the quick response.

But how would I do that? Neither of those appears in the 'save as' options :o.

You can't directly from word. You would need to save as a PDF.

Unless you have the full version of Acrobat then you can convert pdf to jpg via http://pdf2jpg.net/

    Thanks Steve

I managed to do what I wanted by using CutePDF Writer :T. I had tried a Google search before posting here, but not really knowing what I was searching for was a bit of a handicap :p
