No response from barclays

Hi all

sent a sar request to barclays on 30/1/12 and had no reply. Is there a template letter anywere that i can send to ask them to respond to the sar?


The sar request as been signed for but they not cashed the cheque???

can anyone tell me if this is the right address. And if not will they foward it to the correct one or will i have to send another sar request?

That address is one of the ones for Barclay's listed in the sticky at the top of the forum so should be fine.

I just dropped my SAR letter into my local branch.

Even though I bank with Natwest, I was getting worried as I too sent my SAR letter off at the end of Jan and heard nothing, so I sent a quick letter to the PPI address in Manchester and they responded today telling me they acknowledge its past the 40 day limit, but due to the sheer amount of requests they are having, they are behind.

I assume its the same for all the banks. If your unsure, just send them off another letter but I imagine they are so snowed under, they are slowly working their way through the requests.
