I think that I was probably responsible, although he should have taken the time to work on it with me, and that shows the weakness in his character. But I love him all the same, and want the best for him.

Equally, I hope your man values you as much as you deserve, as your clearly so caring.

You're only responsible for your own actions, not his.

I really hope things work out for you whatever happens. The fact that you say you love him so much that you want him to be happy regardless of what he is doing to you leaves me with an opinion that I won't share here... you can probably guess what it is!

Celebrate- Same goes for you! When you both realise you are worth more, you will take the right action. (Before anyone starts shouting at me again, :p I don't mean 'up and leave', often these things can be resolved) Best wishes to you both.
there seems to be an unhealthy obsession on here with ignore lists!

I have one but thats personal to me and I would not divulge to anyone who is on it. Thats my business.

I wouldn't personally 'ignore' anyone. You never know, they might have something useful to say one day!! I thought about it once, but I skip past them these days. If I don't like something, I don't thank it. - not that I always thank if I'm behind, but it does help me keep track of where I am. I couldn't be the least bit bothered if my posts weren't thanked, thanks don't feed the family and never will!

    Wow!!!

He was dispraxic too which I don't know if it's connected. But he would come home some days from school feeling (and sometimes being) violently ill because the noise on the bus got too much for him. Though as panic disorders run in our family (and mine is sometimes triggered by too much noise), I can't be sure that wasn't the cause of the sickness.

A member of my family had dispraxia after a head injury, really awful thing to witness. He couldn't move properly, couldn't release grip, hated noise, and weirdly couldn't tell if he was too hot. This used to cause sickness. Some people don't understand these things, I certainly still don't understand it fully, but knowing what some people are going through, I don't half feel lucky.

You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

God created men first, cause you always makes a rough draft before a masterpiece!

Can anyone tell me if the WHSmith giftcard offer is still on when you buy a greetings card please? Thank you in advance.

yes it is...but the giftcards they give you are prmotional ones only valid until June 30th 2012 :( If you get lucky with a nice SA you might be able to continue the glitch of buying giftcards using giftcards ;)

I think your post just shows what a lovely person you are....so many people would be lashing out and calling him all the names under the sun (I would be one of those people!), yet you just want whats best for him...thats a really healthy adult attitude imo :) I know someone else who did had this attitude and it was remarkable to see how they moved on in a happy way, with no ill feeling between him and his partner.

Please do take the time to grieve for your relationship, but I think its healthy not to bear grudges and fall out unless absolutely necessary :)
Thanks Frequent, have passed that on.

I am a little worried but trying not to show it. He has been a few times before but this is the first time on his own. Am worried he will miss the bus back so may be looking for lodgings tomorrow.

Have packed him a bottle of water, a tube map (thanks Jane), told him not to speak to strangers, look both ways when crossing the road and will spit into hand and smooth down his hair when he goes out of the door. Have I missed anything???

yes...have you written his name in the back of his coat in case he loses it? And threaded his mittens through his coat cos its supposed to be freezing this week!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

surely they are connected to the till system? or maybe it was just the odd glitch? I wouldn't worry about it too much.
