OTT question :o for any Lovelies over a certain age & going through the 'tropical moments' phase in their lives

Do you get really itchy legs? :o:o:o

I thought it was the Gout but in a book I was reading it mentioned someone itching their legs as a symptom of their menopause

Not been there yet but I remember Grandmabear got something similar around 'that' time, think it's varicose eczema she has.

They reckon that lots of people have autism but are never diagnosed with it. It's good to have an Awareness Day for it because people don't understand it and lots of people who have it are bullied at school.

I met a friend through WW a few years back who had a son with Autism who was around the same age as my youngest brother. Several things she said struck a real chord and I do think my youngest brother is on the Autism spectrum somewhere albeit mildly.

He questioned and resisted change to a severe point, even something very simple, he would grill me for ages and ask why he wasn't consulted (?!)

He was dispraxic too which I don't know if it's connected. But he would come home some days from school feeling (and sometimes being) violently ill because the noise on the bus got too much for him. Though as panic disorders run in our family (and mine is sometimes triggered by too much noise), I can't be sure that wasn't the cause of the sickness.
Hi Everyone, managed to catch up early today:j

Can anyone help, my DS is off to London tomorrow and needs to get from Victoria Coach station to Stephen Street just off Oxford Street. Which tube/stop does he need? Is he better getting a day ticket if so does anyone know which one/how much?

Sorry for all the questions he has left it to the last minute and is now panicking that he is not sure what he has to do. TIA

That's a nice easy journey, tell him to ask directions to the tube as it's not always easy to find unless there are swarms of people going there, Victoria coach station is a short but slightly confusing walk if I remember rightly but there will be someone to ask.

He just needs to get the northern Victoria line for 2 stops (Victoria - Green Park - Oxford Circus) and he'll be at Oxford Circus, which is on Oxford Street. Both stops are in Zone 1 so a Zone 1&2 travelcard (definitely get a day ticket, much cheaper in case he accidentally gets on/off at the wrong stop or wants to go anywhere else and can be used on buses as well) will be sufficient. HTH xx
