Disgusted, the woman immediately summoned the flight attendant and demanded a new seat. The woman said "I cannot sit here next to this black man." The fight attendant said "Let me see if I can find another seat." After checking, the flight attendant returned and stated "Ma'am, there are no more seats in economy, but I will check with the captain and see if there is something in first class." About 10 minutes went by and the flight attendant returned and stated "The captain has confirmed that there are no more seats in economy, but there is one in first class. It is our company policy to never move a person from economy to first class, but being that it would be some sort of scandal to force a person to sit next to an UNPLEASANT person, the captain agreed to make the switch to first class." Before the woman could say anything, the attendant gestured to the black man and said, "Therefore sir, if you would so kindly retrieve your personal items, we would like to move you to the comfort of first class as the captain doesn't want you to sit next to an unpleasant person." Passengers in the seats nearby began to applause while some gave a standing ovation.
Certainly makes you think - absolutely brilliant, really wish more people could be like this xxx
Sorry but that is fake, seen it on facebook where the balck person is a woman, different airlines mentioned etc.0 -
Hello Decay.
That poor lady with 40% burns.
Read some very harsh comment about it being her fault.
.
This lady is the mum of a friends work collegue and she is trying to lie low about the matter due to extreme embarassement as you can imagine although I think that is the least of her problems at the moment but its a small city and everyone knows everyone ...
In the kitchen at the same time was a gas ring that was on ....
I dont think we should judge really, we have all made OMG awful stupid mistakes at one time or another that we spend years regretting. I think if anyone can spare her a small prayer today to what ever God you adhere to for her full recovery it might make a difference“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Morning everyone,

I agree with you. Brer Rabbit and the tar baby has stayed with me for life!
Before the BBC drama, I researched Enid Blyton and read how she treated her children. She was lovely to her little fans but was dismissive of her own daughters. So sad. Did you notice that her second husband was called Kenneth Darrell Waters and the main character in Mallory Towers is called Darrell Rivers?
I loved Enid Blyton as an author but agree that she did not come across as a nice/kind person to her own family. Strange how someone that had a talent for writing children's books was not very nice to her own children.Born to glitch0 -
I was down with mil she was at a family history fair at parkstone grammar. Bought all the wine glasses there were only six there. That's where I was earlier. You should have said you were down here. I didn't notice any cheap wine glasses.
Did you have them all or is it worth me looking tomorrow?
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

I need to spend a couple of £5 off £40 today so looking for good deals on store cupboard items.
4 x tins of Branston baked beans are £2.55 in T and £1.28 in A so a JTD of £1.27 per pack of 4.
I may buy 16 packs for £40.80, use the £5.00 off and pay £35.80 then get a JTD voucher for £20.00.
Will have actually then paid £15.80 which equals about 25p a tin. Slightly better if you buy 15 packs and spend a couple of ££s on non-matching shopping as this brings the JTD voucher in under £20 so not capped.
I am assuming Branston beans price match? If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -
Sorry is its already been mentioned but are the aero mint trees going through cheap yet? checked a few weeks ago and they wern't.0
