    Latest update on daughter Lala.Managed to get her to stay in bed most of the day as she did not have a very goodnight. when I arrived early this morning her arm was so swollen we decided to take the bandage completely off and put it back on but looser.It was quite a shock for both of us to see scar and now she realises why it is hurting so much and that she needs to rest it completely.
    WHile she has been laying in bed she gave me instructions as to how to make a lovely loaf of bread out of the very contraversial bread mix;)( I told her all about the charity hoo haa:eek:)
    Having day off from cooking tomorrow as Lala's DH is cooking us a bbq, whats the betting it rains;) you can bet it will all be whoopsied meat but he does like his m&s salad:eek:
    From one Nanny to another PURDITA your little grandaughter is perfect:) I have 4 very grownup grandsons but to hold a new little one in your arms is just wonderful.
    3Dogs Lala asks me to tell her how you and Mr3Dogs are doing every day.
    Happy i cant find you to keep an eye on you like Lala has asked me to:cool:

    Just a quick update, my Dad is fine!! I've never felt such a sense of relief in my life. On the original ultrasound that he had it was his liver that was showing up as apparently its an odd shape with some tissue that made it look like it was something on his pancreas. But apparently an odd shaped liver is nothing to worry about! So he's absolutley fine :D

    Just want to thank you all so much for the kind wishes the last couple of days. It's easy to see why this thread is a lifeline for so many people. Never really fully understood that until this week. I don't have many friends here, outside of my work, so really did feel like I was going out of my mind the last couple of days, but being able to come on here and get some support or just enjoy the banter has been brilliant, so thank you all :iloveyou:

    Just enjoying a beer at the moment (San Miguel, free ;) ) while OH makes a chicken curry (whoopsied chicken of course) and going to relax for the rest of the evening :D:D Will be back later to catch up
    :beer::beer::beer:

    So glad all is ok with your Dad. Why don't you have two beers to celebrate?:beer::beer:
