    Madness!
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17553696

been informed that there's police at petrol stations at home. utter crazy.

Crazy indeed, got home ok but went the long way round.. The mass majority of these people are being complete idiots..

As things look there may not be a strike and even if there is it has tobe within 7 days of announcing one...

We had 4 people in work today, all smugly claiming they queued up and got a full tank of petrol.. Non of these cars have done over 5k miles in the past year...! They don't need the petrol, there cars just sit on the drive most of the time.. Funnily enough all 4 of them had genuine faults with there cars so they all failed MOTs today...

You know how we almost expect bad customer service from T's ( with some exceptions) ?
Well my DH had some fantastic customer service from Hotel Chocolat today.
He entered the easter competition on facebook but didn't receive the confirmation email with the voucher to claim his prize.
So he emailed them and asked them to check it out. They couldn't find any record of it and asked what his email address was.
They still had no luck finding it but as he suspected he'd mistyped his address they looked through all the info again for anything resembling his address.
They emailed him today apologising for not locating it and offered by way of compensation to post to him an extra thick egg of his choice worth £26.

At no time did they ask him what prize he had won (it was actually a signature collection worth £28 but it could have been something small).

Just proves there are still some good companies out there.

It's madness the main rd to manchester this morning was chaos with people queuing for fuel. I do less than 3000miles per year and have half a tank it'll last. I'll leave the fuel for others who need it for work.
When this last happened I was a manager for a large fast food delivery company and we were told to hire cars as they came with a tank of fuel, because customers were complaining they didn't want to waste their fuel collecting their food:eek::eek:
