Not finished catchin up yet but wanted to answer this before I lost it amongst all the chat
You don't need ANY e-mail to get a pricecheck back. When you put it in the first time make one up, as long as it has a abc@def.com format the system doesn't notice. If you want to be organised you can use the same e-mail the next day to check it, if you can't be bothered then use def@ghi.com press submit and it will say "already checking blah blah". Hit back and enter until it pops up.
I make up some very strange combinations and never keep a note of what I used. That is just one of the flaws with the system
Sorry mharzuk, it's probably me being thick, but I can't seem to get this to work. When you say hit back and enter till it pops up, mine's just going back to a blank screen to reinput all the details again. Can you or some one help me please?Hope is not a strategy.0 -

I'm kinda curious but also think its important to know given how little use this card had and hence how little 'info' was floating about the electronic world for them to catch onto iyswim.
When i have had one of mine "done" before i was totally clueless as to how as i had had it for 6 months and not even used it, and apparently i was told someone will just sit at a computer all day inputting numbers - not essentially typing but has a programme that does it and every now and again the right numbers will bring up a valid card and then they use another part of the programme to input more numbers to get the pin number/security code - looks to me as this was how yours was done, no access needed just a game of chance on their side that invariably pays out dividends .:(:(Very proud to be Strip club member No 430 -
Sorry last question are SS putting through multiple coupons for the butter or are we buying all in different transactions?0

And if you have had enough, then the subs are on offer in T for £1 from tomorrow. So buy at S as part of BM and for each 2 you will pay £1.99 and get £1.98 back. Not quite free but Ok for a penny.
My kids will be sooooooo glad when this voucher runs out at the end of the month, although they do quite like the chicken and tangy meatball subs
Free Rustlers?? what have i missed here she says to herself?, my lot love these things, and i spend a fortune on them, do you mind sharing how you manage to get them for free please..
TIAIt`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

I found a SW forum(minimins?) but I very much prefer MSE
and well done on your loss! :T that's what I'm aiming at, 2lbs a week, nice and steady
so do you recon I can polish off a box of Thorntons mints(leaving out the wrapped ones I don't like, and maybe not eating all the fudge ones) on Saturday without consequences?! :j :rotfl:Oh well, maybe I'll just leave it for now as I'm going home next week for a few days and there is no frylight, no fat free cottage cheese and lots of other 'essentials' and I'm traveling 'light' so no big 'liquids'I'll be struggling but will try to live on fruit, veg and whatever else will seem suitable...
PS. I'm waiting for further info on the knives too, I have the block and 4 knives, will get the rest too as we love them
I still have 5 knife coupons that I will never use "sighs"I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
Good things come to those who wait:A Bad things come on express delivery:(0 -
I refuse now I just do my own thing, and have a huge grin on my face as I fondle my stash
I'm with you on this one ML....and the others who have posted before and since about this....I've tried to convert friends and family - most of which are in a better position to go to Ts for glitches bargains (ie no kids, live closer etc)....do they bother - nope!
One of my friends is an absolute snob and wont shop anywhere but Next for anything (including white goods/bedding/small kitchen appliances etc)...if she could buy food from there too she probably would!!! Yet she wanders why shes skint!!
My sis moans that she never gets the bargains (tip - actually go to Ts, it might help)...she passes it 3 days a week on the school run and has 2 hours to spare to go in...does she bother - nope!
Am slowly getting my mum into it, but its kind of feels like I'm trying to teach the dog to speak Arabic!!! :rotfl:
I've officially given in....last year in the 90% sale, I got a lot of toys...my friends bought most of me at slightly over the cost (I made £1 on each thing)....ok, so I made a profit...but it didnt cover my petrol for the umpteen trips I made....so now I just dont bother.
Instead, I just gloat (unashamedly as well) about my bargains....they can all manage to get to Ts, some have far more time on their hands than me, and certainly have more reliable cars!!! If they cant be bothered to get the stuff, theres no way I'm getting it all for them!!!
Even the hubby moaned ages ago that he hardly ever saw me....until I explained that unless Ts agreed for me to just phone them up and say 'look, instead of me making umpteen trips and fleecing you of glitches and DTDs, hows about you just send me a cheque for £700 this month and be done with it!'...then I would have to actually get off my bum, go there and do it myself......he sat and thought about it for a few minutes, realised how much we were saving and how much we were making out of Ts...then realised the trips are definately worthwhile!!!!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
