How do I read it :rotfl:
    Toni`s Mummy :)
  • Spotted some whoopsied chicken fillets this morning reduced from £4 to £2.60 with a 3 for £10 sticker. Knowing that the multibuy often kicks in as well (and with thanks to Zippy who mentioned this recently) I bought 3 packs and was charged £2.60 x 3 -£2 = £5.80 for 3 packs so very happy with that.

They also had packs of reduced British diced beef at £3.50 reduced to £2.59 with a 2 for £6 sticker so I got 2 of those as well. I was charged 2 x £2.59 = £5.18 with no further discount so it seems to me that the multibuy discount applying to whoopsied items is a bit hit and miss.

Now that the price flop Easter egg voucher has expired, DD has decided she needs little presents for all her friends at school  so I was pleased to spot a couple of OOD SELs in the Easter egg aisle - sadly they still scan at the lower price.

On the subject of nice words - This is a favourite of mine about a dog - very sad but says everything to me ♥
When I walk down the country lanes
I know that you're there too
    You're racing through the bracken
Just like you used to do
    The rustling of the undergrowth
    That only I can hear
I know it's just to let me know
    That you are still near
I feel you by my bed at night
Your warm breath on my cheek
But I know you will disappear
If I try to take a peak
So I just lie here quietly
    And be content to know
That in spirit you've come back to me
    And you'll never ever go.

    Our Family Motto ~
If all else fails - read the instructions...

The whoopsied multibuys only work when there is a double offer i.e. 2 for £6 , 3 for £7
The chicken is one of those, the beef is not

  • Bought some nice mittens this morning. Sandy colour faux suede with a faux sheepskin lining and cuff - I think they look nicer than I have made that sound...

Labelled at £6 but scanning now at £1. There was a matching Sherlock Holmes style hat which was also reduced but I didn't notice the price.

Also, a rather nice large silk-type scarf in black/white/pink/orange/tan reduced from £6 to £1.
