My planned trip to Ts tomorrow wil be later than I thought, due to the fact that I have to be taxi to two hairy looking specimens looking to bed down for the night after sons gig.

It doesn't quite work like that though. It's actually better.
When DS2 was young he was a very early riser and I liked when the clocks went forward because he now got up at a more civilised time for a short while.
If your child gets up at 6am (old time) this will now be (clocks forward 1 hour) 7am. It still feels like 6 am to you, but the clock says 7am which feels a bit better. (in our case it was 5.30 becoming 6.30, which made a big difference as imo anything pre 6am is nighttime)
