You can grow stuff on the window ledge/window box/balcony, even if its just a pot of herbs

My o/h is a gardener he works for the local council and oversee's the allotments and all the old boys "bribe" him to have the grass cutting's dumped on there end of the allotment, I get carrier bags full of veg/fruit in the summer time

our garden has too many children, animals and toys in it for anything to actually grow in there...:(

But yesterday I spotted at Ts, some small growbag type things, £4.97 with various different veggies in...sweet peppers, cos lettuce, tomatoes etc...and they're in a small bag designed to fit on a windowledge.....

cant find a link or picture, so will take a pic next time I'm in Ts for you....and I think I might actually buy one as well!!! :rotfl:
