didn't work for me this afternoon ...but I subbed after 2 ...kept on trying but no luck , cancelled the transaction and put them back on the shelves ....just as the shop lifter bolted from the store with some lovely knives stuffed up his fleece .

Also nikki & jes, mr meerkat has finally been diagnosed after yrs of complaining multiple X-rays and an MRI, with osteoarthritis in both kneecaps as well as the rest of the knee joints....he's 33 and it's not going to get any better. Trying to figure out what to do now as he had to stop working last yr and wind up his business. Had hoped it would get better but nearly 12 months on he is in constant pain :( Just what you need with a 4yr old & a baby....a daddy who cant play in the park with them :(

Unfortunately it's one of those things that you always thinks affects older people but it doesnt, mine was caused by having a cartlidge operation at 16:(

    RIP DTD.

It's now more than a year since Double The Difference started, I've just been thinking. From what I can see, it was on or around 13th March last year that it was launched. I've just had a laugh though, strolling down memory lane, googling and reading all the press about it.

    I loved DTD with a passion:T:T:T:T

Awww, that not sounds good, hopefully docs can help him with the pain. He is young to be suffering. Has he had any pain relief?

My husband has had pain in his knee for about 2 months, he describes the pain as a constant ache but worse when bending and driving (his job involves a lot of driving). He has had an x ray and it showed nothing that could be causing the pain so scan is next.

I hope your husband finds some form of treatment to help him...hugs..xx

good luck to all in finding suitable pain relief , i find 8 codeine tablets a day eases it slightly and voltarol gel is good .

    Evening all
Have been out all day and haven't eaten yet so just a quick heads up to anyone going to T's tonight.
I had an unexpected DTD on Moon Sand Magic Zoo.
There were loads at L££ Mill on a stand marked at £4.75.
It scanned at £19.97 so £30.44 DTD
    Barcode 89457

Found a fab Megabloks Blok squad heroes set.
Was £60. Marked £30 on box. £22.00 SEL but scanned at £15.
B/C 02404. My grandson will love it

Also had £7.00 DTD on 2 packs Disco's crisps. They had a SEL of £1.24 but scanned at £2.99.
I think these had the wrong SEL though as the CS guy said they had given out loads of DTD's on them today. He didn't even check my receipt!!
Worth checking if you spot them. They are the packs of 12 with 3 extra free

Don't know what happened with the batteries. Bought 8 pks and got them BOGOF plus an extra £8.94 off in L££ Mill.
But in another superstore they were only BOGOF when I bought 6 Pks....so I suddenly remembered I actually needed rechargeable ones.;)
Got some baby bits reduced. Thomas the tank long sleeve bibs £1.25...feeding bottles, manual breast pump 75% off etc.
Got free nappies, more bread. Flash, Herbal Essenses with SSM coupons
Easter Eggs, Cakes, Desserts all using Price flops
Think I did quite well on the savings front... will sit down after dinner and work it out!
    See you later!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
