Thanks for the info, will take a look a bit later when the kids are asleep - lol at the irony of that comment :rotfl:

My daughter was good at sleeping for a few hours in the nights but would not be put down at all in the day! I had to hold her all the time, she wouldn't go in her cot, moses basket, playpen at all in the day whether she was asleep or awake. She would only sleep in the day if she was in my arms and would scream like a banshee if put down. I used to walk to the shops with her in my arms pushing an empty pram/pushchair :rotfl:.

I couldn't bear to let her cry :o it only lasted a few years.;)

It must be me, as the dog is exactly the same with me, she won't lie next to me on the settee she has to be on me.:p

My son never slept right through the night until he was 3 years old ! He`s now 14 and sleeps like a log.....so there is light at the end of the tunnel.....albeit a looooong tunnel !

O/T for all the bakers but NOT for all the dieters!! :-

I have a few bags of Dead heads left!:o:rotfl: And the expiry (though I don't really go by expiry on choccie, I just have lots of it and want to use some up ;)) is the end of the month so I started looking for recipes. This would also work with the Galaxy Promises ;):D and looks very yummy.

(so wanna try it though! :silenced:)

I haven't tried the above yet but what I have tried is good old choc crispy cakes! I thought the caramel might harden too much but it works perfectly with both dead heads and caramel promises leaving the cakes chewy when set.

Just melt them slowly (be careful not to burn choccie) either over a saucepan or in the microwave, stir in a bit of butter/marg and heat for a teeny bit longer, stir until nice and smooth, pour in your cornflakes or rice krispies and pop into cake cases or you can miz anything else in at this point...think marshmallows, raisins, nuts etc etc and press into a tray to create a tray cake :)

I've got a cheese and onion loaf in the oven and it smells GORGEOUS!!! Trouble is, I'm on a porridge only diet today and I just dare not eat any of it. DH is hovering in the kitchen as we speak waiting for the first slice.
