NCP Parking Charge Contravention Charge Notice - Milton Keynes

Hi,

Just before Christmas I received a PCCN from NCP in Milton Keynes. For those of you who do not know Milton Keynes shopping centre it is mainly council owned car parking with the exception of 2 NCP car parks (recently added).

As an employee here i receive scratchcards from the council which I buy monthly. The area has purple lines and red lines denoting "standard rate bays" and "premium rate bays". Until NCP turned up, I was able to park in any purple bay and i did not know otherwise.

On this particular day, i parked in a NCP bay BUT THE PURPLE LINES ARE STILL ON THE FLOOR. I find this to be very misleading!

I appealed and after nearly a month and a half NCP replied saying I would still have to pay my fine!

The advice on here is just to ignore, ignore and ignore. I want to do this but do not feel entirely comfortable! Does anyone have similar experiences and what is the upshot?

Loads of people on here ignore these tickets all the time. Nothing happens (apart from the begging letters).

The upshot is that nothing happens beyond the letter-chain shown in the top thread. Have a look at it now and just play PPC snap with each matching predictable template letter. And look at the Watchdog clip on there too.

I was very comfortable with ignoring a fake PCN like yours 4 years ago. My husband was less comfortable about it but he could see that I knew it was a scam and that I was laughing at each letter and the money the PPC had wasted on me.

OH NO, The purple infringement !
Ignore these muppets, it is a scam that impersonates authority, they have no more power to fine you than the local women's knitting circle for wearing last years jumper.

I have so far ignored over 80 of these FAKE tickets. I have never paid a penny, and not a single one has ever been taken further.

If I can ignore 80, I am sure you can ignore one, camel!

Don't pay the money-grubbing scammers anything.
