Just posting on the off chance that someone on here may be able to help...
I bought an Alesis DM6 drum kit last week via eBay - however the trigger in the Hi Hat Controller is missing.
I was just wondering if it's possible to buy the trigger separately (I can't seem to find anything though), or if a Hi Hat Controller from another electronic kit would work?
The whole controller is about £40 which is £40 I don't really want to spend.

It's almost certainly just a generic part in terms of electronics, but it's difficult to know (or guess) what it is without seeing one from another module.
Can you post a picture of one from another part of the kit?0 -
This is the part that I am talking about - http://www.alesis.com/realhatpedal
The trigger sits underneath the footpad at the top - however I have no idea what it looks like because it's concealed. I just know that it isn't present in the controller I have - as I compared it to an exact same one at a studio I go to.
Since posting I've seen that this hi hat controller is a better one that on other models, and that a replacement wouldn't do the same job as this is a 'real hat' not just a 'DM Hat' as they're different.
I guess I will just have to order a whole new controller.SAVINGS: £63.86 // £3,0000
