I only went into one CS today but struck gold. Like new Boden wrap dress for £10, which is a lot of money, but it probably cost £90 new so I was happy to treat myself. I then spotted a lovely little grey Fat Face cardi on the 99p rail too, so grabbed that as well.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

The Barnado's shop in a nearby town has put prices up but still max £2.99, but books are still 3 for £1. Just to thumb my nose at Gove I bought To Kill A Mocking Bird to read again

You have all convinced me I need to get to these charity shops!!! I have never been to one apart from dropping off donations. I love car booties so charity shops should be an easy enough jump!!!
Any tips for a newbie?

Ooo they look lovely, I've never thought about doing CS in Monmouth we have family near there but normally drive straight past, might have to swing by and check out the CS when we are in the area next. Are there lots of them?0 -
Thriftygifty - it was just about 5pm when I got there. Cancer Research was open til 5.30. I think there were 3 others.
I'd not been before but there were quite a lot of shops, museum, castle and an archway that I'm about to google!0 -
