Absolutely not - in London, at least. Not even water.

It's a well known non-fact that people in London are very careless and prone to spilling things, so no liquids.

Wow fantastic responses and have given us alot to think about and compare wwith which was the idea.

We have still had no feedback but theres lots of reassuring info here that i will show my fellow workers over the course of today.

I will reply to poats in more detail when my call centre manager isnt hovering whilst i use my phone.

Tbh, this place in reflection is pretty damn relaxed about alot of stuff.

Quick answers though i do get bus and pay same amount of money for monthly bus saver.

I did not mean to make it out like i was whinging by the way i was just saying how i felt honestly to read some replies to allow some comparison of situations and put more into context how well off we actually are.

If only i lived closer or could afford to get a car and drive it would be pretty nice sort of job.

We have open cups of water only but everyone has half a kitchen undee there desks brews and cans of energy drink everywhere.

I also like the idea of the dinner time trade off. ace idea. i shall mention it!

    Any other comments welcome..

Ok so the result is in. we won!

Normal outbound campaigns work 41.25 hours per week (11.45 to 8pm)
They take 1 hours break total per day. 5 x days
    Total 36.25 hours per week

    Our inbound campaign work 41 hours (7.45 - 6pm) over 4 days.
We take 1 hr per day.
total of 37 hrs per week.

As can be seen there is a difference of 45 mins.
As a result they are prepared to give us this break time back. we now have an extra 10/11 mins break a day.

Now after reading all previous posts i do feel rather grateful for the time we get now!

So each day we wil now get 4 x 10 mins break and a paid half hour dinner.
