HSBC "ADJUST TO CR" What does this mean?!

I checked my online banking today with hsbc-I have a basic bank account with them. I noticed they had put £10 in my account, next to it it says "ADJUST TO CR 1"
What does this mean?
Why did they put £10 in my account? I have never had a bounced direct debit etc with them, so never had any charges on it that they could have been refunding?
Anyone?

It appears to be an adjustment to a CR (credit?) numbered 1. Why don't you give them a ring and ask them then let us know. I'm curious.0

Have you paid some money into your account recently (particularly by putting into a paying in envelope into a machine)? Could you have written an incorrect amount on that / or a mis read figure?
Thats the only time I had something similar to the above (although that was with olderstyle paying in machines).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
