I personnally dont think there is much to do in Burnham its self, its ok for a short day trip. The shops are really basic to say the least and the majority are tat shops IMO
You should be able to get the bus to Weston, where there is more to do.
Have a look here for ideas

Are you a walker? The river bank down by the Brue is nice at high tide, Brean Down is a good (but long) walk, with the fort at the end? Cheddar Gorge is worth a visit, if you can get over there..... Weston Super Mare? Don't know if Secret World is open? (rescue centre for animals, do displays etc certain weekends of the year) Good indian in the high street, can't remember for the life of me what its called though!!! Brean Leisure Park? Have fun, and hope the weather is kind to you !!!0

We went there a few years ago when the kids were under ten, we stayed on the big Caravan site (Haven possibly?) From memory there was absolutely nothing to do there for the kids, but presumably your boyfriend and yourself are easier to entertain lol
There was a smallish town with a few shops, pub and cinema. We mostly used Burnham as a base for Weston Supermare though we also headed for Cheddar George as the kids called it and Minehead for a day. Glastonbury isn't a huge distance away either. I guess it depends on if you have your own transport.0 -
Hi,
Sandy Glade is in Brean, a few miles from Burnham. There is a fair ground that opens on the 30th or 31st and quite a few pubs. Weston is a bit further than than 5 miles away but is quite nice for a few hours. I'm certain that there are buses that go through Brean to Weston
Burnham town centre is quite small but you can walk along the sea front and again there are a few pubs and restaurants.
A good place in Brean is the Seagull. They have entertainment some nights. The entertainment guide can be found here http://www.northamfarm.co.uk/seagullinn/march.phpI would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.0
