Pizza Express 2 Courses are OOS.:mad:
Oh no, I've been saving for 3 of these for months now!!!!
I've also been let down by the Daily Mail collection scheme. My points for 18 and 19 August went straight into the bank and not onto my collection bar and I need to get these put back onto my collection or I won't reach 1500 on time as I missed 3 Sundays. I sent them a message on Sunday, 19 August and got a reply the same day saying they would pass it on to the relevant department to get them to put the points back onto the collection bar. I got an email from The Hut part of which stated: "We are aware this weekend, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th August - that the Unique Numbers which should have been added to your Collection period have,in error, been added straight into your Mail Bank Account. For most members this is actually preferable however we are aware of a small number of members who wished to redeem rewards this weekend and are now having to wait a little longer to finish their current collection. We can reassure you no member has lost Mail Points or not been awarded The Mail Points owed. It is simply a question of whether the Mail Points have been credited to your Current Collection Progress Bar or directly into your Mail Bank Account". I explained that I would lose points if the 250 were not credited back to my collection bar as I would not reach 1500 points within the allotted period, having missed 3 Sundays but would just manage it if the points had not gone straight into the banked points. I sent another message on Tuesday and got no reply, then came midnight Wednesday and the Sat + Sun were listed as Missed. I sent another message on the Thursday and got no reply so sent another message last night. Not good at all. I've been collecting since the scheme started last summer and using the points to get Pizza Express 2-course meals for when we go through to Edinburgh to visit our son for 3 nights each time. We take him out for 3 meals, one in any restaurant, one a really good restaurant and the other in Pizza Express to cut down the expense a bit as we're both retired now. Disappointed when I read the message above that Pizza Express vouchers are now out of stock.
I don't hold out much hope for the Daily Mail getting back to me to try to sort out this problem. It looks as if The Hut can't or don't know how to transfer the points back to where they should have been. I was wondering if I should try phoning the Daily Mail to see if anyone can help. You would think they would be a bit more courteous and at least reply. They did promise that the relevant department would transfer the points back as per their message: "Thank you for your message regarding your unique number. I am very sorry there has been an error with this weekend?s unique numbers and that they have automatically been added to your Bank. I have sent your details to the relevant department to have them transferred from your Bank balance to your current cycle by Wednesday. I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. If you have any further questions you can contact us and we will be more than happy to help. Best regards". Not good on their part to say that they "will be more than happy to help" when they don't even reply. I'm so disappointed and disillusioned with the Daily Mail now."For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0 -

When it started the PE 2 courses were quite good value meaning you only had to buy the paper for 4 weeks and then it went to 6 then 8 and now it stands at 10. It is costing £24.00 to get the voucher now. It is not worth it anymore. There is an offer until the end of this month that can be used at weekends that means you pay £13 for 3 courses on a set menu deal.0
