It all depends if you currently buy the newspaper. Because if you just buy it for the rewards you will not see a return on some rewards. Although if you save for bigger rewards like a sat nav it may be worth it.

If you log into your account you will see the option of number card missing on the left side. Just select magazine missing and it will be automatically added.Thanks to Quoia for the info.
