When you win they contact you by phone & ask you to confirm who you are & that you entered the competition so if your husband has a direct line I don't see why you couldn't enter but I would enter in his name but make sure you tell him just in case they do ring him to say he's won.

There is no need to apologise whatsoever, every single one of us makes mistakes and people should be damn grateful that answers are often posted on the forums.

You always have the option of researching your own answers so don't go at someone who makes an unintentional error

I already knew what the answer was, my point was that the 16 people who had entered beforehand hadn't and trusted that the OP had got it right! I understand people make mistakes, see my above post as an example however if you're posting competitions on a forum where people use your answers you should at least do a double check to make sure it's right!

Cathy, I for one am very greatful for you posting these comps with big prizes. I don't have time to watch them myself, so I would miss out if it was not forpeople like you who take the time to post them.
