Horrible story
Fantastic books though, couldn't stop reading and got through the three in less than a week.
I agree about them being more for older teens. I'd read them before giving them to a son / daughter, I found them quite disturbing.:eek::eek:0 -
Can't get the free delivery code to work - anyone else having trouble? My daughters are my world0

The Works is up to more than a fiver for the three, but I ordered them throught he Book People via Quidco to get free delivery plus 6% cashback.
DD has been hankering after these books lately, but it sounds like I'm going to have to read them first, just to check they're suitable for a 13yo, you understand:)

They may be a little adult for 12 year olds. I mean its about people killing one another and the themes etc are a little serious and adult. Its no Harry Potter let's put it that way.
Thanks - I think we might leave them for now then. He does read older themed books, but I'm not sure I'm happy about him going to bed reading that kind of stuff. There was one Cherub book a while back that he had to abandon halfway through as he was so upset that the character's family had all been murdered! I think perhaps these books can wait another year or two.0 -
Thank you. :T:T
I have just ordered them from The Book people, through Quidco for £4.99 with free delivery. They had gone up to £7.99 at the works.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

When you click/go through Quidco the window opens with a code for free delivery.
Go back and try it again, it may be 'hiding' behind the book people window and not so obvious. HTH~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Try going with the Book People. If you go with Quidco there is a free delivery code on there. Sorry not allowed to put it in this post. £4.99 delivered and 6% cashback. My daughters are my world0
