I have picked these up and put them back down a few times in WH Smith (not that I'd pay their prices anyway!) as I wasn't convinced they'd be suitable for my son even though they were in the young fiction section... what sort of age range are they aimed at? He is 12 but a very confident and advanced reader, so if they're aimed at maybe teen readers they'd probably be OK - but from the blurb they sound more like scary adult books!!
  • 11 year old friend is reading and has recommended to 11y old daughter, have not read to recommend though. also £4.99 and free del at book people. but ordered from works with 3 other books.
  • Thanks read the first 2 but still haven't read third. They may be a little adult for 12 year olds. I mean its about people killing one another and the themes etc are a little serious and adult. Its no Harry Potter let's put it that way.
