Amusing a 2 year old on a 9 hour flight??

You could always ask for advice from your GP, when we took our youngest to Florida (18M), I took her for a check up first as she had an ear infection & I was concerned about the effect the flight would have on her, as it happens, it wasn't a problem. The GP, actually offered me some kind of antihistermine to make her 'drowsy' on the flight. I personally declined this, however, if GP's think this is acceptable, then may be it's an option for you?0

Travelled alot with my children. 2 is most definitely a difficult age. We found the best solution was a portable dvd player with his favourite programmes on from CBeebies. Also needed lots to eat and drink. If you are travelling with others, it is best if they sit behind the 2 year old. The 2 year old can then stand on his seat and be amused by the person behind.
Good luck and have a great time!0
