Have you checked that your iPad is connecting to your router and not a neighbours?

Except PcWorld Will deal with the issue.

They have the procedures to deal with any manufacture, to comply with the SoGA.
This is true - however you may well find Apple more helpful.

For a start, Apple can to an in-store swapover, and secondly if it's sent away for repair (especially with an intermittent issue) theres a chance it could be returned with the note "Tested - no fault found".

Unfortunately, this isn't the retailer being annoying - some manufacturers (for example - TomTom) have a "good" process for the retailer to sort out problems (TomTom tell the retailers to do a swapover in-store, and TomTom will take the faulty one and send the store a new sealed unit to sell), others (like Apple) aren't quite so flexible

An update on this one - I tried a THIRD iPad at my house, and it worked fine once again - after speaking with Apple care I returned to the store and explained everything from start to finish and received a replacement, which is A-ok now, so I'm happy enough, although it was an annoying few days. Incidentally, our friend who brought the third iPad round to test also had an iPhone as well, so it's safe to say the situation went beyond dispute at that point!

When my Gf took her iPhone in it had a fault that we couldn't replicate so they said "the only fair thing to do is give you another iPhone" and replaced it on the spot. Great customer services.
