My debt been sold to new company while on DRO

My DRO finished in Feb 12. One of my creditors listed in the DRO, has sold my debt to another compamy in Jan 12. Do I have to pay this new company and does this mean I am in debt once again.

if it was listed in the DRO all you have to do is tell the agency its passed to the debt was included in ur DRO, you wont have to pay it again. they probably didnt update it before it was passed etc

Hi,
I recieved a similar letter this week from Grant Thornton advising me my account has been sold to them in Jan 2012. They say it is not a payment demand and they will be dealing directly with my "Nominee or Supervisor". I am confused as this was included in my DRO and I was discharged from the DRO in April 2011.
Does this mean they have taken away my DRO?!
And who is my Nominee or Supervisor?!

no the debt is still covered by the DRO, they mean that they will contact the OR, ie the person in charge of the DRO, it is quite common for debts to be sold on even if the creditor can no longer collect from you. It is not a problem as long as they comply with all the same rules and regulations as the original creditor
