How Can I get a copy or print out of a text message?

I've got a blackberry and I like to either get a print out or a copy which shows date sent.

Any ideas how I can do this please?

You need to either Email it yourself, or see if there are any screen capture
softwares that you can download to capture the screen image of the text to an image file. then you can print them out from your computer.

Btw, if you're thinking of evidence, it wont be accepted as such, too many possibilities etc with emailing it. If it is for evidence you need to basically turn it over to someone who can access them properly, in a wait suitable for legal matters.
The screen cap might work, if it shows the whole text, untouched, with a date etc.

Can you place the phone face-down on a scanner? Does that work? Or take a photo of the message showing on the screen?

In terms of evidence it'll be pretty lousy as-is, though.

I think you can also see, and print, your messages in the Blackberry Desktop Manager software.
