I dont know what I need or dont need. Its all so confussing. I ve read on here but im still stuck

I am going to florida holiday is £6500
park tickets are another £1000 and car hire about£350

anyone recommed one or how much I should be looking at

also when it says for example cancellation up to £3000 is that per peson on the policy or per policy ( we are a family of 4)

what do need for certain

Ive had one quote for £ 40(kids must go free so does that mean they cant claim)
it gives 3000 cancellation and 10 mil medical and 1500 baggage

it does not give missed departure, schedueled airline failure, delay, missed departure,, hospital benifit, legal expenses, personal accident, hijack or accomodation holiday abandonment
to add these its 50 pound each in toatl again no charge for kids ?

thaks

I wouldn't recommend one as such but the first one I looked at gives cancellation of £10k. Removes the issue about whether it applies per person.

Sorry, I must've missed that out. It was the Post Office - Premium level.

Levels on travel insurance policies are normally per person.

Click on Travel and Motoring at the top of the forum as a good starting point to what you need.

Cheap policies often have high excesses or don't include baggage, although that may be covered by your contents insurance.

Don't forget to declare any pre-existing medical condition of anyone travelling.
