Pc world pathetic customer services

I emailed them asking for product dimensions for a desk on their website as I wanted to order on online if suitable - have not got one close by.

their response

"Dear XXXXXxxxxxxx ,

Thank you for your email of 22 February 2007.

Unfortunately we also only have access to the same page that you have looked at on the internet, so I am unable to proved you with the information you are looking for.

I would advise you to either visit your local store or call 0870 242 0444 who will try and contact the store for the dimensions for you. "

so I have emailed them back with a bit of a sarcastic email asking they use some initiative to contact another dept. internally for the measurements.

PC World are great for selling PC's if you know what you want and can just go in and get it, but as for any advice, forget it.......

I can never find anyone to serve me in the first place at the Bexhill one - last week, I couldn't find something and the security guard ended up taking pity on me with my hunt for an assitant and took me to the shelf I needed....

They were advertising cheap LCD TV's a few weeks back - so I went along for a look - finally, they told me, despite their window being plastered with signs saying "take away today", they didn't actually have any in stock, but could order me one........

    Hopeless shop.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

I recently bought a PC from them online, but did change my mind before it was delivered. I phoned them and spoke to a woman who said it had been cancelled, but low and behold the following day it turned up by DHL.

Eventually I managed to take it back to the Fosse Park branch in Leicester for a refund, but whilst waiting to be served a guy had a question about routers - the assistant didn't have much of a clue.

I agree with what's been said, it's ok if you know what you want, but if you're after help of any sort you have no chance.

They employ monkeys and not many monkeys at that.
