I'm up for another one - have done really well in MFIT-T2 and it's been great to watch it going down. Are planning to get a bigger place in the autumn (thankyou overpayments, we'd never have been able to think about it otherwise) so it'll be a much bigger starting point!29/01/07 - Took on our first home for £225k, mortgage of £200,700, reduced to £70,224.44 in 6yrs
16/11/12 - Moved to our forever home for £427k, mortgage of £270,999
MFIT-T3 #2 - Reduce (new) mortgage from £270k to £225k whilst renovating and with our first baby on the way! £265,654.56 so far0 -
Not for me as I will be mortgage free by summer 2013!!!!0

Hi FB
I would definitely be interested, as having already cleared our further advance, this would be an ideal opportunity to make a serious dent in the main mortgage.
I think I might be aiming to clear half of the balance in another 3 years.
Thanks

Count me in too!
The plan is to pay off my mortgage by summer 2018 (but I'd actually love to become MF before I'm 40 in summer 2015 - this will depend on my job situation etc). Either way I'd love to join in again!
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Hi FB (and fellow MFWs)
I have voted yes as I am enjoying the MF-T2 challenge. it doesn't always go to plan does it but certainly it's good to have the focus and the quarterly updates. You also get great support and to 'meet ' some fantastic and inspirational folks
My goal is to be mortgage free in 8 years from now...so i may even need another challenge after this new one!:rotfl:

Hi FB
Please count me in! We are hoping to be mortgage free in the next 2/3 years depending on job situation. The challenge is a great motivator and source of focus. As Brizzle has said it doesn't always go to plan but we are still managing to chip away at it!
Thanks againMFiT-T2 Questee number 1460 -
Big yes from me. The support and incentives from the MFW 2012 crew has been amazing. Would love to replicate on a longer term. Not expecting to get the whole thing paid by 2015 but would be near as dammit there.
Thanks FB:)
