ESE , i'm considering wiring 3x 250W (approx 120 Vdc 8A at STC )direct into a standard 3kW 240Vac immersion on a HW tanks , via suitable Dc isolator and fuses , IT WILL NOT be in anyway connect to main ac systems
any thoughts on this ?
i presume it will just dump what it can into the immersion and water ?0 -

My meter is on the outside of the house in a box, so would either way be feasible?
Don't think you have sent me any link (to another URL).

Kernel_Sanders wrote: » I think people might be alarmed by this! Could you clarify that the 3x250W is from modules which aren't part of your MSC installation?
this is nothing to do with my item at all just to let people know my device i am talking about is for export leccy only from solar pv
so thanks kernel for pointing it out0 -
yep soory for diverting your thread ,
I got hold of 3 damaged panels , (broken glass) I'll stick a bit of low iron glass over them as a temp. fix and was just looking for a way to put them to use .
(yes outside of the mcs / fit world)0 -
much cheaper than this one:

which doesn't even know what the export level is.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.
We belong to the Earth0
