Q: Loading 'digital copy' of movie onto a netbook? Also downloading movies?

I wonder if someone can please advise, we are flying soon and the netbook has 6-8 hours battery life so I wanted to load some DVD's onto it for the children.
I have bought Rio to start with and it says it includes a 'digitial copy': http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rio-Digital-Copy-Jesse-Eisenberg/dp/B004LVOXKM Does this mean I can load it, and keep it, on the netbook?
Also, is there a way of downloading other movies onto the netbook for watching offline (when we are flying)? I have every intention of paying for them but want to get 4 or 5 movies to hand so the kids are not bored - the netbook does not have DVD/CD Drive to play them, of course. Thanks.

with digital copies of movies you get them through iTunes, for that you need to install iTunes and get an AppleID, you then follow the instruction on the leaflet (normally go to a website enter the code and select download in iTunes)
as for buying movies to watch offline then iTunes is probably the best bet again, buy the movie (or rent) and it will download and you can then watch it later without an internet connection.0 -
If you already have dvd movies you could RIP them onto your computer and then transfer onto the netbook via a memory stick, flash memory.
http://www.winxdvd.com/dvd-ripper/ try this
WinX DVD Ripper is totally free DVD ripping software that helps you backup DVD to hard drive for better protection and longer storage.
its freeware someone may suggest a different program i've never ripped a dvd.
as for the digital copy i suggest you read the info about it on amazon
