DRO and moving
Hello!
I am due to finish my DRO at the end of this month and also looking at moving to a new area. I just have a few questions about both.
As I finish the DRO on 30th March will I still need to inform them of my address change and could this cause any restrictions? I won't be earning for the first few months of moving so I won't have alot of money still.
Also I am looking to rent a flat, have seen a reasonable sized and priced flat and am hoping to be able to get the money together for both the deposit and first 6 months rent (its about £85p/w) as I earn quite a good wage and have a high deposit on my current flat I can use this to pay for the 6 months (crazy how different prices in rents are!).
The flat I am looking at accepts DSS (as I will be unemployed and hoping to apply for benefits for a month or so til im sorted). My questions about credit checks, I know with my DRO the likely hood is that I will fail the check but with me being able to put 6 months rent up front do you think this could help? I have no idea what estate agents are really like when it comes to people with bad credit, has anyone had a similar experience?
Its such a big move for me but I want to know as much as poss before moving and also before contacting anyone official over it.
Thanks for any advice
