Hi im looking for some advice, im being eaten up by debits to the point of having to buy food to feed my children on credit cards, a big world wind is lifting me up as i just go round in circles..
Im 34 live with my partner we both work full time an have 7 children between us.. Im self employed and my partner works 6 days a week so were not sitting on our butts.
Im not frivolous, just changed car insurance an saved money, had my sky turned off an only buy the food in that we need prob every other day. Im a home owner well with a mortgage. My partner moved in with me about 12 months ago an my tax credits more than halved an over the last year the debit has just got bigger and not for buying expensive stuff just the essentials believe me! any suggestions would be greatly received..
Ive tried a budget planner an still carnt see my way out i need to feed the kids what do i do ?

Post up an SOA, its the easiest way for us to help you.
But, do you and your partner pool all your money.
How old are the kids.
I presume you mean debt, rather than debit.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Yes we have done a joint bank account about 4 months ago once i started to panic about money !0

The best board to go on to is the debt free wannabee board.
However you do need to post a SOA on there.
People will question you on your spends to make sure you know what is essential and they will be reasonable while doing it. People on this board aren't nice when going through SOAs.
They will also refer you to other boards so you can learn how to reduce your outgoings on food and other things.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Come over to the DFW (DebtFreeWannabee) board - you'll get heaps of advice and support.
First advice would be to post an SOA (statement of affairs) found at the top of the DFW board on the first time poster sticky and then all the lovely peeps on there will have a look and offer advice.

Soa for def. where you pit it is up to you, people on this board are not generally rude, but expect a "no punches pulled" review of your budget if you post here. That aside, congrats for having your lightbulb moment, and wherever you post, remember that whatever people post isn't intended to be judgemental or rude, it's simply a reflection of what they would do in your circumstances. Best of luck, you'll get lots of help.0
