Been looking into using a fuelcard as a way to save on my fuel costs. However, the T&C's all state they are for business use. Could I get away with entering 'self employed' on the application form ?.

From the gist of what the sites say, the fuel is cheaper.

    How?

You'll pay the pump price, are you VAT registered?

Not true. With a Fastfuel card you pay the price the card issuer sets. It changes every week but is usually a few pence cheaper than the pump price.

We usually get an email or Txt depending on card Issuer stating price for the following week.. Usually a penny or 2 cheaper than pump price..

We buy our fuel in bulk and then draw off what we have bought so the price is fixed from the purchase date.

We buy a minimum of 20,000 litres and the saving is not as great as you may hope for.

But with an average of 70 - 90 litres a day for each vehicle it soon gets used.
