Going to see a mortgage advisor about shared ownership

We viewed a new build shared ownership property last week that is being sold through an estate agents. In order to get any details relating to the shared ownership scheme (and figures) we need to see their mortgage advisor, so we have an appointment to see her on Monday.
So I'm just wondering can anyone suggest what questions we should be asking at this appointment?
We have no intention of using their mortgage advisor as we already have one so we're just looking for questions relating to the particular shared ownership scheme/terms.
Thanks in advance

Contact your local housing associations and ask if they have any second hand shared ownership properties - they will be a lot cheaper!RICHARD WEBSTER
As a retired conveyancing solicitor I believe the information given in the post to be useful assuming any properties concerned are in England/Wales but I accept no liability for it.0 -
I've been on their website and looked and there's only 2 in the area we want. One is a 2-bed semi with no central heating for £50k (for 70%) and one is a 3-bed semi for £65k (for £50%) but needs new carpet and new bathroom. The new build is a decent size 3-bed semi with a driveway big enough for 3 cars, and a decent size garden and is on at £37k per 25% share we want to buy0

I didn't think you were going to have your deposit saved until November/December this year?
It's not really worth seeing and advisor now.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0 -

As I've posted on a few threads, we've changed what we're looking for. We're now considering a shared ownership property which we have already got nearly a 10% deposit for and would likely have a 15% deposit by the time we needed it.0 -
Any thoughts?0

On probably the biggest purchase of your life take independant professional financial and legal advice.0

AS I SAID: we are using an independent financial advisor but we have to see the estate agents in order to get details of the shared ownership scheme so still looking for suggestions of questions we should be asking. As ftb's we are a bit purplexed by it all0
